the Miami Yacht
Club!
As a visitor you are welcome
to enjoy our restaurant. We
have lunch and dinner specials
daily with the exception of
Monday when the restaurant and
bar are closed. Visitors are
also welcome to inquire about
hosting a party, banquet or
meeting at the club. MYC burgees,
shirts, hats, jackets and more
can be purchased in our ship’s
store.
Racers are welcome at The Miami Yacht
Club!
Regatta participants are warmly
welcomed during our hosted events.
Regatta participants should
check with the office or regatta
chair about support boat storage,
amenities or if extended stays
need to be arranged. Daily rates
do not apply to regatta participants
during hosted event
Visiting Yachts are welcome at The Miami Yacht
Club!
Visiting Yachts should contact
the main office for availability
of space for their vessel. Charges
for visiting yachts desiring
to land and use the facilities
of the Club vary based on club
reciprocity with the visiting
captain’s home yacht club.
Cruising sailors do not have
to pay for anchoring in the
areas beyond the dock areas;
however, sailors may not land
at the MYC without paying the
daily rate fee.
Daily Rate and Visitor Amenities
There is a daily visitor rate
and visitors are issued a temporary
membership card and tag for
their vessel.
The daily rate
includes landing rights at MYC,
use of the men’s/women’s restrooms,
including showers, use of the
lounge/restaurant, use of the
pool, garbage disposal in the
Club’s dumpster, package delivery
to the Club for visiting yachts,
pay telephone. Owners of dinghies
discovered without current tags
will be assessed a dockage fee.
The daily rate does not include
parking an automobile at the
Club, lying alongside the dock,
utilizing water and electricity,
lying alongside the dock for
repairs by either the skipper
or commercial repair services.
Data and communications facilities
are available for a fee (hourly
rate) and include club phone,
fax, internet access, and other
communications lines. No long
distance is permitted.
Visiting yachts desiring to
lay alongside the dock and utilize
the electricity, fresh water,
make minor repairs, etc., may
do so for a charge and based
on availability.
Like our members, all visitors
are expected to follow the rules
of the club.
