Club's Email Address List
As the Club's email system was
rejecting a portion of the email
addresses on record in the
Office, those sent back to us
have been eliminated from the
system's active list. That
means if you are not receiving
Club emails about upcoming
events, then, your email address
is not on the Club's active list
of Members' email addresses.
If you wish to be added to the
list, please email Jim Ori at
mycstaffcom@bellsouth.net.
A test email will be sent to
you, and if it gets through and
is not bounced back, then, your
email address will be added to
the active list. If your
email does not get through and
is bounced back to us, then,
your email address will not be
added to the active list.

Beer Can Races
The
Wednesday Evening Beer Can Races,
which
officially restarted on May 28th, are sponsored by
Presidente Beer. See Roger Boardman
at 6:30 p.m. on the Patio.
ALL
Dry & Wet Slip Boat Owners &
Vehicles
Starting June 1st,
the old MYC boat stickers will
be replaced for all Club Member
boats here at the Club, in
either dry or wet slips. New
stickers will be issued by the
Office for ALL boats, trailers,
and vehicles. These stickers
may be picked up at the Office
by Club Members. Please also
bring a copy of you boat
registration, boat tag, and
insurance policy for each boat
here at the Club, and your
driver’s license and license
plate numbers for your
vehicle(s). In addition, we are
in the process of updating
membership information,
especially phone numbers and
email addresses. So, please
bring these as well. Thank you
for your kind cooperation.

Independence Day BBQ Party:
Everyone is invited to our
annual July 4th blast in
celebration of our country's
independence. The Club is
a great place to view the
fireworks at night.
Grounds Clean-up
A clean-up of the Miami Yacht
Club’s premises will be
conducted on Monday, July 7th.
We will be getting a dumpster
for things that need to be
discarded. Tires lying about
will be thrown out, if not
claimed by their owners. These
tires collect water and become
breeding grounds for
mosquitoes. So please be
advised if you have left
anything on the ground in and
about a slip or wherever, it
could be discarded if you do not
come and take it away. Thank
you.
Summer in the City Regatta
The Racing Chair, Donita
Leavitt, is looking for
volunteers who would like to help
put the Summer in the City
Regatta together for this
summer, August 2nd and 3rd. For more details,

The date for the race has been

Leavitt, is looking for
volunteers who would like to
help put the Fall Harvest
Regatta together for sometime
late in the autumn. For

Race Management Seminar
MYC will be hosting an
inter-club race management
seminar. The date has been
changed to October 18th at 8
a.m.
It will involve US Sailing
certifications for all who wish
to attend. More details,
such as the F&B and name of the
instructor, will be forthcoming.
