VEHICLE PARKING AND STORAGE
1.) No permanent or semi-permanent storage of motor vehicles or recreational
vehicles will be allowed on the premises of the Club.
2.) All vehicles parked overnight on the grounds of the MYC shall obtain a
pass from the Manager. The pass shall be displayed on the dash or other
location that can be easily seen.
3.) Member overnight parking on the premises is only permissible under the
following conditions:
a.
a.) When staying overnight on the member’s vessel in a wet slip.
b.
b.) When taking the member’s vessel from either wet or dry storage for
overnight cruising.
c.
c.) When accompanying another member who has taken his/her vessel from either
wet or dry storage for overnight cruising.
d.
d.) When going out for overnight cruising, the member’s guests may park on
the premises provided notification is given to the Manager, including the
member’s name and the guest’s name, make and year of vehicle and the license
plate number.
e.
e.) When cruising for an extended period up to six (6) weeks.
NOTE:
Whenever a member is leaving a motor vehicle on the premises while cruising, the
member must notify the Manager and leave a set of keys to the vehicle with the
Manager so that the vehicle may be moved if this becomes necessary for any
reason.

Overnight parking on the premises by visiting yachtsmen is allowed under
the following conditions:
a.
a.) Upon providing evidence of membership in another Yacht Club, a visiting
yachtsman who has registered a vessel at anchor in the vicinity of the Club may
apply to the Manager to bring a motor vehicle (excluding recreational vehicles)
onto the premises for a period not to exceed five (5) days. A charge of $2.50
per day shall be assessed the visiting yachtsman for this service.

b.) Visiting yachtsmen who desire to exceed the allowable period of
parking/storage for motor vehicles may request, in writing to the Rear
Commodore, an exception to the above limit of five days. This request must set
forth the reason for the extended stay, the date the extension starts, and the
anticipated date when the vehicle will leave the premises of the Club. The
per-day charge will still apply.
5.) Overnight parking of vehicles and recreational vehicles may be allowed
for out-of-area participants of regattas conducted by the Club. Visiting
sailors desiring to utilize this service must complete a registration form
available at the Club Office.
6.) Vehicles used solely for the purpose of launching and retrieving trailer
stored vessels may not be left at the Club when not being used for this purpose.
7.)
Following the launching of a trailered vessel, the trailer must be returned to
its assigned space and unhooked from the vehicle. The vehicle must be parked in
an approved parking space.
